Joplin, Missouri, is the town of Ron Hart-san, Founder and Director of Route 66 Chamber of Commerce.
Ron-san has been VERY kind to us.
And, we could stay at 1928 Phillips 66 Filling Station.
What wonderful and rare experience.

And, we ran from Joplin to Carthage.

Ron-san is not a policeman.
But, he has a policeman’s car…
I have been escorted by his policeman’s car…

This is Route 66 Drive In Theater in Carthage.

And, again, thanks to Ron-san, we could stay at that famous Boots Court Motel in Carthage, Missouri.
